1. Organisor and sponsor: Čokoladnica Rajska ptica, Ljubljana

2. Location: Shopping centre Supernova, Jurckova cesta 223, Ljubljana-Rudnik, coffee and cake shop Rajska.

3. Time: Every third Tuesday of the month. Confirmation and payment of players fee by 16.50 on the day of the competition. Imediately after the game winner is announced. Games are played without the break.

4. Rights to enter: Anybody can apply and play who, pays entry fee and conforms to the rules and regulations of the competition. Fees: 3€ for adults, 2€ youths under 20 years of age. Nubmer of players is limited to 40. Applications can be done via SMS (Supernova 2-name and surname). Application to play on the day can be made on the spot if all the places have not been taken.

5. System of play: There are 9 circles of play based on the Swiss system of play with 10 minute tempo plays. Each set of players is chosen randomly by a computer.

6. Game rules: The game is played by the rules of Slovenian chess federation with added rule for fast pace play.

7. All the sets and clocks are supplied by the organisor.

8. Criteria for winning/qualifying:

1. Higher number of chess points;
2. Better medium Buchholz;
3. Advanced Buchholz;
4. Success in other competitions;
5. Higher number of wins;
6. Higher n umber of wins with black figures;


9. Winners get money prizes and prizes of products made by chocolatieres Rajska Ptica:

1st. place - €30                     4th. place - chocolates

2nd. place - €20                     5th. place - chocolates

3rd. place - €10

Best senior player - chocolates

Best woman player - chocolates

Best youth player under 20 - chocolates

9. If there are no top winner the prizes are divided equaly betwen the other best players.

10. The winner and prizes are given mmediatelly after the competition.

11. The main referee is Marjan Butala, national chess referee. Referees decition is final.

12. During the competition there is no smoking, drinking of alcohol and use of mobile electronic appliances.  If a player leaves the mobile phone on and it rings, player looses that game.
